¶ 1. Hurricane Reflective Mirror and Focusing Lens Cleaning

Note:
- Cleaning Method: Disconnect the power supply. Use 99% anhydrous ethanol or a professional optical lens cleaner (avoid solvents containing ammonia or acetone). When wiping, use a lint-free cloth and gently wipe in a single direction (e.g., spiral outward from the center), avoiding back-and-forth rubbing that may cause scratches.
- Cleaning Frequency: For frequent users, it is recommended to clean once a week; for infrequent users, clean once a month.
- Caution: If the lens coating peels off (appearing as purple or gold spots), it must be replaced immediately and should not be used further.
¶ 2. Hurricane Machine Housing Cleaning and Maintenance

Note:
- Cleaning Method: Disconnect the power supply. Use 99% anhydrous ethanol as the cleaning agent. Dampen a lint-free cloth with the cleaning agent to wipe away dust inside the housing, including the fan, X/Y-axis guide rails, and the air outlet of the air hood.
- Cleaning Frequency: For frequent users, it is recommended to clean once a week; for infrequent users, clean once a month.
¶ 3. Precautions When Hurricane Is Not in Use for Extended Periods
- When not in use for an extended period, drain the cooling water from the water tank according to the Hurricane draining instruction video to prevent moisture inside the tank or other unexpected problems.
- Ensure the machine is placed in a dry location and avoid leaving it in a humid environment for prolonged periods. Power on the engraver periodically. It is recommended to run the fan for 10 minutes once a week to prevent bearing corrosion.
