¶ 1. Cleaning the P1 Laser Module's Window Lens and Fan

Note:
- Window lens cleaning: The laser module's window lens is not removable. Clean it using 99% anhydrous ethanol or a professional optical lens cleaner (avoid cleaners containing ammonia or acetone). Wipe gently with a lint-free cloth in a single direction (e.g., from the center outward in a spiral); avoid back-and-forth wiping that may cause scratches. After cleaning, inspect the lens surface under strong side lighting to ensure there is no residue or fiber left behind. High-frequency users should clean once daily; low-frequency users should clean once weekly. If the window lens is damaged, please contact customer service.
- Fan cleaning: Dust buildup on the laser module's fan will affect heat dissipation. High-frequency users are advised to clean once a week; low-frequency users can clean once every 1-2 months. A lint-free cloth or optical-grade lint-free swab is recommended (avoid ordinary cotton swabs, which can shed fibers).
¶ 2. How to Maintain the P1 When Dust Builds Up Inside the Enclosure

Note:
- Use 99% anhydrous ethanol as the cleaning agent, and wipe gently with a lint-free cloth to avoid scratches from back-and-forth wiping. High-frequency users should clean once a week; low-frequency users once a month. Do not use corrosive liquids as a cleaning agent.
- After wiping the linear guide rails clean, they must be evenly coated with grease (for grease grade selection: use grade 2 for low-temperature environments below 15°C; grade 3 for environments above 15°C).
- The exhaust fan must be removed to clean it — please do not force it open.

¶ 3. What Should Be Noted When the P1 Is Not Used for an Extended Period?
- Store the machine in a dry location; avoid placing it in a humid environment for extended periods.
- Power on the engraver periodically.
