Answer: The A70 series features a specialized design and is currently not compatible with laser modules from other AtomStack models or third-party brands.

¶ 2. Can the A70 Series Laser Module Be Used on Other Brands of Engraving Machines?
Answer: The A70 series features a specialized design and is not compatible with engraving machines from other brands.

¶ 3. Can the A70 Series Engraving Machine Engrave or Cut Metal?
Answer: The A70 series can engrave on anodized aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and certain iron-based metals. It can also cut thin stainless steel sheets up to 0.05 mm.
Note:
- Blue diode lasers (used in the A70 series) are optimized for non-metallic materials. For metal engraving, infrared laser R30 V2, MR20 fiber laser, or lasers with 1064 nm wavelength are more effective. The MR20, for example, can engrave precious metals like silver and gold (ventilation is required to avoid inhaling metal dust). Currently, the A70 series does not support installation of R30 V2 or MR20 infrared laser modules.
¶ 4. Can the A70 Series Engraving Machine Connect to a Router?
Answer: The A70 series supports Wi-Fi connection or direct hotspot connection to the mobile app. However, when attempting to use LightBurn software for remote control via IP address, some compatibility issues may arise. While the machine can connect to a mobile phone via Wi-Fi or hotspot, LightBurn may not operate stably over the IP connection, which can interrupt engraving tasks.

¶ 5. Can the A70 Series Engraving Machine Engrave Curved Objects, Such as Cups or Thermos Bottles?
Answer: Yes, the A70 series can engrave on regularly-shaped curved surfaces (such as cups and thermos bottles) using a rotary attachment.

- Recommended rotary attachments include R1-B (V2), R2-B (V2), R6, R8, and R8 PRO. Refer to the rotary setup video for proper connection and usage.
¶ 6. Can the A70 Series Engraving Machine Engrave and Cut Leather? What Parameters Are Recommended?
Answer: Yes, it can. For recommended settings, please refer to the 70W engraving parameter chart, available via the USB flash drive included with the product, the AtomStack official website, or by contacting customer support.
Note:
- When cutting leather, use higher speeds for high-power settings, and slower speeds for low-power settings. Improper settings may cause burnt edges or even ignition. The recommended approach is to use multiple fast passes instead of a single slow one.
¶ 7. Can the A70 Series Engraving Machine Be Used with Rotary Attachments?
Answer: Yes, it supports rotary accessories such as R1-B (V2), R2-B (V2), R6, R8, and R8 PRO. Simply connect the rotary attachment to the Y-axis motor port of the engraving machine to use it.

- All AtomStack machines use white-head sequential wiring cables for rotary device connection. Please note that R1 V2, R2 V2, and other V2-series rotary tools produced before July 12, 2024, may not include the white-head sequential cable. If needed, please contact customer support for a solution.

¶ 11. Does the A70 Series Engraving Machine Come with Air Assist? What Is the Flow Rate and Noise of the Air Assist?
